chill wednesday
Today was nice. The weather was nice and everyone was out in the Pit. My English 84 class was cancelled and so I was in the Pit from about 11 am to 12:40 doing absolutely nothing which felt nice. It helped to alleviate alot of the stress i'd been feeling. But now i'm just slacking off and accomplishing nothing. I haven't done any MCAT stuff and clearly my first practice MCATS is Saturday. I'm scared and excited at the same time. And come hell or high water i'm going to sleep on Friday at 10 pm. I swear it right now before all of you.
Anyways... getting back to life real quick. So I as i'm hanging out in the Pit with Chris Love and Reggie, who calls me? JEFF CASH!!! Yaaay! He tells me he's coming to Chapel Hill later on that day. I get excited. I hang around in the Pit and eventually see James, John, Tracey, the Qs, most of the Alphas, Tiffany, David Ruskey, Chip, and Tyrell. So that was happy cause I feel like I haven't seen someone in a long while.
I had an appointment at Student Health at 1 so I went to that. Happy to go and happy to be working towards health. Got back to my room with the intention of laying down and ended up going back to campus because thats when Jeff called. So I get up to campus and spend perhaps all of twenty minutes with them; then Justin and Jeff left to look at apartments. I accidentally met up with Jermaine. We had a nice little chat about his work/money/food situation which ended in me taking him to dinner/lunch at Che Lenoir. We had a fun little time inspite of the fact that the food was scarce and choices scarcer. I'm sure he thinks i'm insane by now and was running away. Ha.
Anyways after that Garrett and I went on the UNC Black History tour. I really learned alot. Afterwards we went on a hunt to find out where SHAH was being held. We did find it (after stopping to talk with my friend Lashaun and getting helpful advise from Matt) and were of course late.
After SHAH I met up with Brandon and we went to the game. Sometimes I had being good. As Brandon says it makes all but a few games SO boring. But we won, so oh well.
Anyways I think i'm going to continue to slack and perhaps even go to bed early. I really need to read this book Garrett gave me so perhaps I will do that for half an hour before sleep.
